Concrete surfaces must be clean and free from dust, grease, water, oil and other contaminants impairing adhesion. Edges of the joint and recess must be level. Concrete should be at least four weeks old.
Asphalt surfaces to receive Neolastic Expansion Joint System must be cleaned to provide a flat surface that is free from contaminants. Asphalt surfaces should be smooth and level across the joint.
